Here are a couple of new products I'm selling at the store. Hopefully when I get back from NY they'll be sold out - which means that my trip will have been partly funded by sales, which may help to balance out the purchases I intend on making there!

Always approve the quote before you approve the work...which I usually do..but these two one-of-a-kind tables are so unusual  that I think they're worth that little bit extra.....I'm rather proud of them

eco friendly art

 The new bamboo cut-outs have finally arrived and I spent yesterday afternoon hanging them up in the shop - they are made by a local couple who print images and pattern onto the bamboo and they're not only good to look at, but eco-friendly too.  We also have some colourful paper-mache bowls with fynbos patterns and of course the little robot canvases, which are selling like the proverbial hotcake.

Hello again!  Have some new bits and bobs in stock - the felt placemats in green and grey are gorgeous and look beautiful under white crockery.  The zebra canvas and green generic map are great colour statements in any room, and the white swallow light is a Brett Murray original.   The retro chair covered in Skinnylaminx fabric is one of a pair.

Just a quickie

A quick post before I leave for 5 days of relaxation in Vermaaklikheid.  I'll be sure to post some pics of the river and surrounds upon return. The new cuckoo clocks are selling well so far and I'm proud to display my new baby.  The second hand has a little mouse at the end of it - too cute.

It's blogging time!

It's been pretty hectic around here lately and I'm in a mad scramble to manufacture more stock - there seems to be a run on hanging chairs and sidetables.  It's the time of year for film shoots in CT and the ones with the big budgets don't even bother renting, they just purchase.  NOT that I'm complaining.  I've finally had a chance to take some pics around the shop of new stock and various bits that may or may not appeal. Ok, it's time to join the rest of the world.  Hopefully my bloggywoggy will allow y'all to see what's happening with regards to new designs, as well as keeping you up to scratch on new products that appear in the shop. The costs of hiring a pro photographer and posting pics on the website every couple of weeks versus starting a blog are, well, obvious. It'll be great to be able to share my excitement when launching my own new products or even just introducing new stock from other local designers/artists/creatives.
